IELTS Private Tutoring in Birmingham (England)
Are you a Birmingham-based student seeking to obtain the highest score possible on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS)? If you are searching for the most effective and comprehensive IELTS preparation resources, look no further than the standardized test prep experts at Manhattan Review. If English is not your first or native language and you plan on attending an English-speaking college or university, you will need to obtain an impressive score on the IELTS. A high score on this exam demonstrates your readiness to learn in the English language, as well as your ability to engage with others in English. When it comes to preparing for the IELTS, many students enjoy learning in the company of others, finding their peers' questions and comments helpful. Other students, however, know they do not perform to their full capabilities when attempting to learn in a classroom-style group setting. They may find themselves distracted or frustrated when they must alter their own pace of learning to match that of their peers. If you are an ESL student ready to prepare for the IELTS as part of attending an English-speaking college and know you learn best through a program of study customized to your unique test-taking needs, consider working with one of the sought-after private tutors at Manhattan Review.
While learning any new language can be challenging, those who learn English as their second, third, or fourth language know true mastery requires far more effort than merely reviewing vocabulary words. Interactive conversation and consistent, dedicated study are necessary to immerse yourself in the English language, and the world-class tutors at Manhattan Review are eager to help you obtain the IELTS score you need to attend the college of your dreams. Meet a Birmingham IELTS Tutor: John K.
John K. was born in Sydney, and he has always enjoyed helping people understand things. He hoped to one day become a professional educator, like his mother and grandmother. Knowing he wanted the best education he could obtain, John worked hard in high school, and he prepared for the SAT with a private tutor. After receiving an impressive SAT score, John was accepted to New York University, where he majored in education and minored in English. During his undergraduate program, he spent four semesters working in the university's learning center, helping others master information that came easily to him. He then attended American University, where he obtained a master's degree in teaching, as well as a TESOL certificate. After graduating, John happily accepted a position with a large school in Birmingham.
John knew the importance of being fluent in English, and he wanted to help students obtain their own impressive college education that would ultimately lead to professional successes. When John discovered that Manhattan Review had a local office in Birmingham, he quickly reached out about helping students prepare for the IELTS and TOEFL. Students love his carefully customized private tutoring programs, and thanks to his strong sense of humor and excellent teaching skills, John's calendar regularly fills up weeks in advance. When he isn't helping the next generation of English-speakers prepare for IELTS success, John can be found boating in the canals of Birmingham and hosting visiting family members from Australia.
