Meet a Birmingham IELTS Tutor: Suzie G.

Suzie G. grew up in London, then moved to the United States for college. From an early age, she found herself fascinated by the intricacies of the English language and enjoyed learning every detail she could about grammar, punctuation, and other language rules. Suzie double majored in English and language studies at Georgetown University, where she also worked as a tutor for four semesters, helping others master challenging academic English-related concepts. After graduating from Georgetown, Suzie obtained a master's degree in teaching, as well as a TESOL certificate, from the University of California at San Diego. She then happily accepted a job in the Southern California public school system, teaching English and writing composition to ESL learners.

After a few years, Suzie was invited to teach at a private school in Birmingham. She was thrilled to return to England, where she could live closer to family, and it wasn't long before she joined the team at Manhattan Review. Suzie loves helping students master the English they need to excel on tests such as the TOEFL and IELTS.
