Best TOEFL Test Prep Courses in Oxford (England)
The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is one of the most common methods of demonstrating English-language competence for non-native speakers. Manhattan Review is an educational services company that offers a variety of effective TOEFL services in Oxford, including on-site and online TOEFL prep courses, TOEFL private tutoring, and TOEFL practice tests. We have been helping students in major North American, European, Asian and African cities pass the TOEFL since 1999, and we have taught thousands of students how to master TOEFL content, study techniques, and test-taking strategies. Manhattan Review is known throughout the test prep industry as an innovator TOEFL teaching and learning, and our TOEFL instructional methodologies, course materials, and course syllabi reflect the latest modes of thought on standardized test preparation. Our instructors are the most talented TOEFL educators that the city of Oxford has to offer, with outstanding records of producing successful results for our students.
Manhattan Review's TOEFL clients have entered undergraduate and graduate degree programs at the English-speaking world's top universities, including Oxford, Cambridge, the University of London, Harvard, MIT, Stanford, Johns Hopkins, the University of Melbourne, and Australian National University. After finishing their degree programs, many of these students have chosen to become residents of the countries in which they were educated. They've accepted jobs at Fortune 500 companies or Oxford firms, including JP Morgan Chase, Berkshire Hathaway, Archer Daniels Midland, State Farm Insurance, Oxford University Press, Nominet UK, Oxford Instruments, and TI Automotive. Others have decided to return to their countries of origin, to become valuable employees of local businesses, government agencies, or NGOs. Regardless of your goals, you'll need to pass the TOEFL and develop a strong set of English skills. Manhattan Review's TOEFL prep courses and private tutoring in Oxford can help you accomplish both goals.
Students taking the TOEFL need only meet the minimum standard of their specific degree program in order to pass the test and begin their studies. TOEFL requirements are determined by a number of factors, including institutional selectivity, the academic emphasis of a given field of study, degree level, and teaching responsibilities (if any). The most prestigious universities, such as Oxford, Princeton, or Harvard, generally require TOEFL composite scores of at least 100, and in many cases the expectations are even higher. The next tier of schools (e.g. Boston University, George Washington University, and the University of Virginia) expects scores in the range of 85-95, depending on the degree level. There are also numerous options for students who score below 80, such as Purdue University (77), Middle Tennessee State University (71), Northwestern State University (61), and Oregon State University (conditional admission at 60). Individual departments within all of these schools may have higher or lower minimum scores as well as minimum sectional scores. Regardless of your program's expectations, Manhattan Review's TOEFL prep services in Oxford can help you pass the TOEFL and get started on your future.
